At All Season Waterfront Rentals we offer three elegant lakeside residences on the north shore of Kootenay Lake catering to the upscale touristor. Two of our properties, Six Mile House and Cottage, are situated on 2/3 of an acre, a pleasant 10 minute scenic drive from Nelson. Local amenities include a delightful restaurant, community store (everything from groceries to videos to fishing lures and licenses), and a friendly neighbourhood pub. A marina just a short drive away offers various types of floating craft for rent. This area of the Kootenays is well situated for good hiking, climbing, fishing, biking, berry-picking, and exploring over land or water.
Our residences are listed at the top of our website, and provide detailed information and pictures regarding each individual property. All properties are fully furnished, equipped with a barbeque, Wi-Fi, plenty of parking space, laundry and basic kitchen-ware and cooking supplies.
Nelson City has a unique culture that emphasizes the laid back style that recalls the 60’s and 70’s era. It has a lively social scene for all types, with live music and interesting drinking establishments and dining venues. The town is a declared heritage location from it’s wealthy mining boom days of the early 1900’s and it has proudly preserved all it’s great architecture from that era. Unique shops and crafts are readily accessible to shoppers looking for something different. In summer there are street markets two days a week, selling fresh local produce, baking and specialty foods, mostly organic and all local. It’s large lakeside park, a gathering spot for locals and visitors alike to sunbath and stroll, is also the site for summer festivals.
